Family and supporters will be kicking off the SOS Josh Hunt Safety Award and then walking in a silent march approx 15 blocks to the Alberta Legislature on March 10, 2007 at 2 P.M. (starting in front of City Hall) to officially deliver all petitions to MP Mike Lake and MLA Dan Backs.  There will also be special guests such as: The Edmonton Oilers, Edmonton Eskimos, Cracker Cats, The Edmonton Fire Department and Fire Chief Randy Wolsey, Premier Ed Stelmach, Chief of Police Mike Boyd, Mayor Mandel, City Counselors, MLA Weslyn Mather, RCMP, Canadian Arm Forces, Victim families of Josh Hunt, Nina Courtepatte, Shane Rolston, Dylan McGillis and More!!  Some of these guests will be speaking.

Everyone in Edmonton and all surrounding areas, as well as, Calgary and all across Canada are welcome and we encourage everyone to take the time to show up for this much needed cause for the safety of all citizens in our country.  AFTER ALL, THIS IS A CANADA WIDE ISSUE.  Please come out and show our government that this is an issue of safety for you and all your loved ones.

Even though the petition deadline date is now past for anyone that has not signed a petition and would like to we are having tables set up outside city hall on March 10, 2007 between 12 noon and 2 pm for last minute signatures (just before the rally starts) so if you haven't signed the petitions and would like to please come out and sign them on March 10, 2007 or print them off the Josh Hunt Story web site and bring them with you (http://www.joshhunt.info).
